Rogers Offers Canada Day Promo Plan with 158GB of Data

Rogers recently launched a new promo plan leveraging Canada Day celebrations, offering 158GB of data, matching our nation’s birthdays.

The Canada Day Offer is the company’s Essentials 5G+ plan for new activations, which is priced at $65 per month after auto-pay and bring your own device. It includes data speeds of up to 250 Mbps and unlimited nationwide calling and messaging, along with 2,000 international texts.

The plan normally comes with 100GB of data, but there’s a 58GB data bonus as part of the Canada Day promo.

Here are Rogers’ plans as of June 26, 2025: 

  • $65/158GB (until July 3)
  • $75/200GB Canada-US + 1000 international minutes only (and free Sportsnet+ for 3 months)
  • $95/275GB Canada-US-Mexico + 1000 international minutes only (and free Sportsnet+ for 3 months); 50% off Roam like home

Here are plans from Telus in comparison (went up $5/month):

  • $55/60GB
  • $65/125GB
  • $75/175GB Canada-US + 1000 international long distance minutes
  • $90/225GB Canada-US-Mexico-Caribbean + 1000 international long distance minutes

…and plans from Bell:

  • $65/125GB + 1000 international minutes
  • $75/200GB Canada-US + 1000 international minutes
  • $95/275GB Canada-US-Mexico + 1000 international minutes

Rogers says the Canada Day offer ends on July 3, 2025.
