Rogers Network Outage Now Fixed Nationwide, Say Customers
Earlier today there was a short Rogers outage that affected many customers nationwide, according to reports online from customers and third-party tracking sites like Downdetector. Many customers said signals just disappeared and iPhones started to show SOS (those that support Apple’s Emergency SOS via Satellite).
The Rogers outage affected cellphone and internet services. Many were unable to send text messages and make calls. If your cell service isn’t working yet, Rogers is telling customers to power their devices off then back on. Some customers are saying it took a couple of reboots to get things working again.
“The issue should now be resolved. Can you please go ahead and power your device off and back on again to see if that helps?” said the @RogersHelps account on X. Don’t even think about Rogers talking about specific customer outage issues online, as they’ll ask you to take the discussion to private messages.
It’s clear there’s still some post traumatic stress syndrome when it comes to Rogers and Fido outages, especially after the catastrophic outage from 2022, that affected not only customers but businesses relying on the company’s network connections.
Did you experience a Rogers outage today? Whereabouts are you located?

Rogers said this was impossible after the extensive changes they made after the last outage. I can’t believe they were lying /s
