Angry Birds Bounce Now Available on Apple Arcade

Rovio’s Angry Birds Bounce is now available on Apple Arcade alongside three other titles joining the library.

Angry Birds Bounce is a new spinoff based on the long-running mobile game franchise. The new entry takes the tried and true slingshot gameplay format and twists it by incorporating classic brick-breaker mechanics. Developed by Rovio’s Toronto studio, Angry Birds Bounce features Gordon, the first Canadian-inspired bird.

Rovio’s Toronto studio first opened in 2021. The team immediately began working on the game, as explained by the team. Inspired by the city’s Toronto Blue Jays baseball team, Gordon was created as an homage to the sports team and also the late Tragically Hip frontman Gord Downie.

On top of the introduction of Gordon, Angry Birds Bounce features lesser-known playable characters like Jo, Ruby, and Melody. Each bird in the game comes with different abilities to use. As you make your way through the levels, you’ll have to bounce and break your way through, reaching “bosses” at the end of each isle.

In addition to Angry Birds Bounce, Apple Arcade sees the introduction of Kingdom Rush 5: Alliance TD+, Suika Game+, and Crayola Scribble Scrubbie Pets+. These games are all available to play as part of your Apple Arcade subscription.

Finally, and as a bonus for Apple Vision Pro owners, Moonshot – A Journey Home is receiving a new spatial update. Players will now be able to interact with new 3D elements in the game with dynamic visual effects. The puzzle game will be a sure-fire winner for Vision Pro owners.

In Canada, Apple Arcade is available for $8.99 per month.
