Ted Lasso Season 4 Begins Filming in Kansas City

Apple TV+ has officially begun filming the fourth season of its Emmy‑winning comedy series Ted Lasso. Production is currently underway in Kansas City, with the cast later heading to London for additional location shoots.

In a photo shared by Tim Cook, Sudeikis is seen alongside familiar faces, Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca), Juno Temple (Keeley), and Jeremy Swift (Leslie Higgins), sharing the screen once again. Brett Goldstein (Roy Kent) and Brendan Hunt (Coach Beard) are also confirmed to return, both as cast members and executive producers.

This fourth chapter picks up after the Season 3 storyline, which concluded with Ted returning to the U.S. to be closer to his son, Henry. In a twist, the new season finds Ted heading back to Richmond to coach a second‑division women’s football team, a storyline hinted at in the Season 3 finale.

Apple TV+ has brought several new faces into the ensemble. The cast additions include Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsey, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, and Abbie Hern. Grant Feely joins as the recast Henry Lasso, taking over from Gus Turner.

The writing and production team has also expanded. Jason Sudeikis, Brett Goldstein, and Brendan Hunt will again serve as executive producers alongside Bill Lawrence, Jeff Ingold, Liza Katzer, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, and Bill Wrubel. Goldstein and Hunt will continue contributing to scripts, joined by new writers Leanne Bowen and Julia Lindon.

Although Apple TV+ has not yet announced a premiere date, production timelines and filming locations suggest a late 2025 or early 2026 release. Fans can expect more updates, including trailers and official synopses, as post‑production progresses.
