Ted Lasso’s Nick Mohammed Indicates Season 4 May Film Soon

Ted Lasso actor Nick Mohammed is teasing that the fourth season of the Apple TV+ series might start to film shortly. In a social post, the actor teased that he’ll be filming a project and it’ll be “announced shortly.”
Mohammed, who plays Nathan Shelley in Ted Lasso, took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the news that he’ll be rescheduling his Show Pony performances due to filming an upcoming project. “I cannot say what that filming is, but it will be announced shortly,” Mohammed says. “In the meantime, I would really appreciate if people didn’t speculate as to what they think it might be.”
While Mohammed urged fans to not speculate, he ended the video holding up a “Believe” sign, which fans will recognize from the series. Thus, speculation has already started since fans alike have been clamouring for news of when Ted Lasso will return to Apple TV+. It also didn’t help that Mohammed included the #TedLasso hashtag in the post.
News regarding a fourth season of Ted Lasso has been circulating for the past six months or so. Last year, it was reported that options for three key cast members were picked up by Warner Bros. Television, which is behind the production of the series. The original contracts were originally designated to the UK acting union Equity. At the time, it was reported that the contracts were designated to Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift. Now, with the news that Mohammed is also likely to be returning, it stands to reason that other cast members may be returning too. However, there’s still no concrete news regarding Jason Sudeikis, who plays the titular character and is a co-creator and executive producer of the series.
Though, if filming is indeed to begin shortly, Apple will likely make a formal announcement regarding the return of once of its acclaimed shows on Apple TV+.
