Telus-owned Public Mobile has rolled out a new feature: app notifications.
Accoriding to Public Mobile, the update lets users get alerts about account changes, special offers, and new features directly on their phones.
To turn on notifications, users can go to their phone settings, find the Public Mobile app under Notifications, and switch on “Allow Notifications.”
The feature is being introduced gradually, so users may not see every type of alert just yet. Public Mobile says notifications will only be sent when they’re relevant and useful, so you should not be spammed.
Recently, Public Mobile has been tweaking their plans, trimming offerings and revising data, seemingly to set some expectations into this fall’s upcoming Black Friday offers.
