Cogeco Mobile Launches in Canada—Here’s What It Costs

Cogeco Mobile has officially launched and the first plans are exclusive to internet customers in select markets.
These wireless plans with unlimited nationwide talk and text are targeting mid to low data users. Here are the first Cogeco Mobile bring your own phone 5G plans with rollover data. Prices include a $10/month debit autopay, $10 bundle discount and a 12-month promo discount:
- $10/25GB (normally $59) for 12 months
- $0/10GB (normally $49) for 12 months
- $0/month (normally $39) talk and text for 12 months
Data will pause once you reach 100% of your data plan. Customers will be sent a text at 75% and 100% limits.
For now, signing up for Cogeco Mobile is only available in Ontario and Quebec, running on the Telus nationwide network.
- Ontario: Brockville, Chatham, Cobourg, Cornwall, and Welland
- Quebec: Alma, Magog, Rimouski, Saint-Georges, Saint-Hyacinthe, Saint-Sauveur, Sept-Îles and Trois-Rivières
Cogeco Daily Roam lets you use your talk, text and data in the United States for $7/day or in over 60 other countries for an additional $15/day.
Cogeco says there are no connection fees for now (normally $60). Your Cogeco Mobile bill will be sent on its own, and not part of your internet and TV bill.
Telus, despite working with Cogeco, recently raised a double standard claiming how the latter doesn’t want to play ball and allow Telus to access its internet network.
