Google Gemini Now Lets You Create Illustrated Storybooks

Google’s Gemini app just got a new feature—one that might be a hit with parents, teachers, and anyone who likes to get creative.
Starting today, users can use Gemini to generate personalized storybooks with custom illustrations and read-aloud narration.
All you have to do is describe a story, and Gemini will whip up a 10-page book complete with AI-generated art and audio. The kicker? You can even upload your own photos or drawings to be part of the story. Think bedtime stories starring your kid’s artwork or an adventure book based on your last vacation. Now that’s pretty cool.
You can pick from a bunch of art styles—like comic book, pixel art, claymation, or even a colouring book—and it works in over 45 languages. Example prompts from Google include using Gemini to explain the solar system to a 5-year-old, teach kindness through an elephant character, or bring a child’s drawing to life with a storyline.
The feature is available now through the Gemini app on mobile and desktop, available globally, explained Joël Yawili, Product Manager, Gemini app, on Tuesday.
Check out the video demo below—this is actually a pretty cool feature:
