Bell Launches Streaming Bundles with Crave, Netflix, and Disney+
Bell has launched Bell Streaming today, a new subscription option that lets customers combine multiple streaming services into one bill. On Sunday, we told you this new streaming service might be coming, and now it’s become a reality.
The service starts with trio bundles that include the company’s own Crave, Netflix, and Disney+, with Bell saying customers can save up to 25% compared to subscribing separately.
The bundles are available today for Bell Internet, TV, and home phone customers in Ontario and Quebec, with Bell Mobility customers set to get access this fall. Prices start at $22 per month for the basic bundle and go up to $49 per month for the premium version. Two-service bundles are also being offered.
Here’s what the bundles look like:
- Crave + Netflix + Disney+ Basic (with Ads) — $22/month (24% savings)
- Crave + Netflix + Disney+ Premium (ad-free) — $49/month (21% savings)
Two-service bundles are also available (like Crave + Netflix, or Crave + Disney+), with up to 25% off compared to paying for each on its own:
- Crave + Netflix — Basic (with Ads; stream on 2 devices in up to 1080p): $16.75/month (save 16% off)
- Crave + Disney+ — Basic (with Ads; stream on 2 devices in up to 1080p): $15.75/month (save 25% off)
“With Bell Streaming, we’re offering something truly unique in the Canadian market—a bundled experience that brings together three of the most popular streaming services into a more simplified, affordable offer. This launch reflects Bell’s focus on delivering innovative services and unbeatable content experiences. Whether you’re into the latest blockbusters, original series or award-winning documentaries, Bell Streaming offers a smarter, easier way to watch—all backed by Bell’s award-winning Pure Fibre Internet and wireless networks,” said Blaik Kirby, Group President of Consumer and Small Business at Bell, in a statement to iPhone in Canada.
Customers can link existing streaming accounts to Bell Streaming, keeping their profiles, watchlists, and recommendations, while Bell consolidates billing into a single monthly payment.
Last month, Bell Media launched its TSN and Crave streaming bundles on Prime Video.
Now, Bell Streaming is similar to what Telus is offering with its Stream+, but the latter includes an Amazon Prime membership (which includes Prime Video) instead of Crave. Bell’s Basic plan is $1 cheaper than the Telus Basic plan, but its Premium option is $6 more than the Telus Premium version (you get HBO with Crave unlike Prime Video).
