Telus Offers 6-Month Stream+ Premium Discount on 5G Plans

Telus has launched a new promo giving customers up to 39% off Stream+ Premium for six months when they sign up for select unlimited 5G or 5G+ wireless plans.

The deal includes a $12.50/month discount on Stream+ Premium, which bundles Netflix Premium, Disney+ Premium, and Amazon Prime (ad-supported). The regular price for the bundle is $43/month plus tax.

To qualify, customers must be new or renewing Telus users activating eligible mobile plans and must not currently be subscribed to Stream+ with these streaming providers. Only one Stream+ activation is allowed per MyTELUS account.

Accounts must also be set up with Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon individually, and existing subscriptions must be cancelled before redeeming the offer to avoid double billing. The subscription auto-renews unless cancelled.

Here are current Telus cellphone plans after $10/month autopay:

  • $70/100GB
  • $80/100GB
  • $90/175GB
  • $80/175GB
  • $100/250GB
  • $110/250GB

All of the plans above have the added bulletpoint, “Save up to 39% off for 6 months when you redeem Stream+ Premium.”

Telus last week added a promo where it is offering a $5/month discount on plans for 24 months as well, which offsets somewhat recent price increases.

Existing subscriptions do not have to be cancelled before signing up. It will pause your current subscription and activate the stream+ package automatically when you log into the account via the stream+ portal.
