Stream Apple’s ‘F1 The Movie’ in Canada Starting Today

Apple’s Formula 1 drama ‘F1 The Movie’ is now available to watch at home in Canada through premium video-on-demand and digital purchase.
The film, directed by Joseph Kosinski and starring Brad Pitt, can be streamed starting August 22 through participating digital retailers in partnership with Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.
The movie follows Sonny Hayes (Pitt), a former Formula 1 star from the 1990s whose career was cut short by an accident. Decades later, he’s convinced by an old teammate (Javier Bardem) to return to the track and help save a struggling team. Hayes is paired with rookie driver Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris), setting up a battle between experience and youth.
The cast also includes Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, and Bardem. Parts of the film were shot during actual Formula 1 race weekends, adding to the on-track realism.
Since its theatrical debut earlier this summer, ‘F1 The Movie’ has grossed nearly $600 million US worldwide, making it Brad Pitt’s biggest box office success, and also giving Apple some credence when it comes to blockbuster films.
The streaming debut of ‘F1 The Movie’ today comes one day after Apple increased the monthly price of Apple TV+ in Canada and beyond. Have you seen F1 yet? What did you think?
