Apple has launched the AirPods Pro 3, its latest high-end wireless earbuds, bringing big improvements in noise cancellation, fitness features, and even real-time language translation.
The new design includes Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) that Apple says is “the world’s best in-ear” system, now blocking up to twice as much sound as AirPods Pro 2 and four times more than the original AirPods Pro. The earbuds also come with new foam-infused ear tips in five sizes, including a new XXS option, designed to fit more people securely. They’re sweat- and water-resistant with an IP57 rating, making them better suited for workouts and outdoor use.
AirPods Pro 3 introduce a built-in heart rate sensor that works with the iPhone’s Fitness app to track over 50 workout types, calories burned, and performance data. Users can also get personalized audio coaching with Workout Buddy, powered by Apple Intelligence.
Battery life is longer, offering up to eight hours of playback with ANC on and 10 hours in Transparency mode. Fast charging is supported through the updated case.
Another new feature is Live Translation, which lets people wearing AirPods have real-time conversations across multiple languages. At launch, it works in English, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish, with Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese coming later this year.
AirPods Pro 3 also expand Apple’s hearing health tools. Features like Hearing Test and Conversation Boost are designed to help users protect their hearing and hear better in noisy environments, like restaurants.
