Apple Unveils New Accessories for iPhone 17 Series and iPhone Air
Besides unveiling the new iPhone 17 series and iPhone Air, Apple also unveiled new accessories for its latest iPhones. Let’s check them out, shall we?
iPhone Air Accessories

The iPhone Air Case with MagSafe ($69 CAD) comes in frost and shadow finishes. It’s ultra-thin and translucent, with a frosted interior, glossy exterior, and reinforced polycarbonate frame for protection against scratches and drops.

For those who prefer a lighter option, the iPhone Air Bumper at $55 CAD (throwback to the iPhone 4 from 15 years ago!) offers reinforced polycarbonate edge protection in four matching colours, framing the device without adding bulk.

Apple is also introducing a new Crossbody Strap ($79 CAD!), made from 100% recycled yarns. It features flexible magnets and stainless steel sliding mechanisms to adjust the length, keeping both straps aligned. The strap will come in 10 colours, including black, gray, blue, purple, green, neon yellow, tan, sienna, light blue, and orange. This will be handy when you’re travelling.

Rounding out the lineup is the iPhone Air MagSafe Battery ($139 CAD!), a slim add-on that attaches magnetically to the back of the phone. It can provide quick top-ups when needed or extend usage throughout the day, offering up to 40 hours of video playback when paired with the iPhone Air’s built-in battery.
iPhone 17 Cases and Crossbody Strap
Apple is expanding its iPhone 17 accessories lineup with new case options and a hands-free strap, just like the iPhone Air.

Alongside the standard Clear Case with MagSafe, Apple will sell a Silicone Case with MagSafe ($69 CAD) in five colours: black, neon yellow, light moss, anchor blue, and purple fog.

The Silicone Case can be paired with Apple’s new Crossbody Strap, giving users the option to wear their iPhone hands-free. Made from 100% recycled yarns, the strap includes embedded magnets and stainless steel sliding mechanisms for easy length adjustments and to keep both straps aligned.
The Crossbody Strap will be available in 10 colours: black, light gray, blue, light blue, purple, sienna, green, neon yellow, tan, and orange.
New Accessories for iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max
Apple has new accessories designed for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, including fresh case designs and a crossbody strap, which will be pretty popular we suspect.
The standout is the TechWoven Case ($79 CAD), which uses multiple colored yarns to create a textured, fabric-like finish with more depth. A protective coating adds resistance to scratches and stains. TechWoven cases will be available in black, blue, purple, sienna, and green.

Apple will also offer an iPhone 17 Pro Clear Case with MagSafe ($69 CAD), made from a mix of clear polycarbonate and flexible materials, with scratch-resistant coating inside and out.

The Silicone Case with MagSafe returns in six colours: orange, terra cotta, neon yellow, purple fog, midnight, and black.

Both the TechWoven and Silicone Cases can be paired with Apple’s new Crossbody Strap, which lets users wear their iPhone hands-free. The strap is made from 100% recycled yarn and features embedded magnets and stainless steel sliding mechanisms for length adjustments. It will be available in 10 colours: black, light gray, blue, light blue, purple, sienna, green, neon yellow, tan, and orange.
Last but not least, there’s a new 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max at $55 CAD. “The 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max is uniquely designed to dynamically deliver up to 60W of output, providing a powerful boost in charging speeds,” reads the description.
With Dynamic Power, you get many of the same benefits of higher-wattage chargers in a compact, pocket-size form factor to make charging at home, in the office or on the go faster and more convenient than ever,” says Apple.
Now, if you’re not ready to pay Apple’s high prices for its official accessories, there are cheaper alternatives on Amazon.ca at a fraction of the price.
