Bell has launched Bell Cyber, a new brand that brings all of the company’s cybersecurity services under one name. The goal is to make it easier for businesses to get protection against online threats—everything from hackers to data breaches—using tools powered by artificial intelligence.
As part of the launch, Bell introduced a new Autonomous Security Operations Centre (SOC). Unlike traditional systems that react after an attack happens, this one is designed to detect and contain threats in under five minutes using AI and automation.
The company says the platform is hosted on a Canadian-based cloud system, meaning customer data stays in Canada and follows national privacy rules. Bell also works with major tech players like Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Microsoft, and Fortinet to support its security services.
“Today we celebrate the launch of Bell Cyber, a big milestone we’ve been working on for our customers. Leveraging Ateko and Bell AI Fabric solutions, Bell Cyber is a central pillar of our strategy to lead in Enterprise with AI-powered solutions. This announcement is an investment in the security of our customers and our country, strengthening our ability to protect enterprises and institutions in an increasingly complex threat landscape,” said John Watson, Group President of Bell Business Markets, AI, and Ateko, in a statement on Tuesday.
The announcement was made at the inaugural Bell Cybersecurity Summit today, which took place at the Globe and Mail Centre in Toronto.
Bell Cyber is part of Bell’s broader push into tech services, alongside its Ateko and Bell AI Fabric brands.
