MIGS 2025 Gaming Conference Returns November 11 and 12 in Montreal

The Montréal International Game Summit (MIGS) gaming conference will return to the city later this year. Running from November 11th through to November 12th, the event welcomes participants from over 25 countries to celebrate the industry.
MIGS is the longest-running video game event, and it is being held at Grand Quay in the Old Port of Montréal this year. The venue will provide attendees with 54,000 square feet of floor space across two levels. The event will include over 40 expert-led panels for attendees to sit in on, as well as the Indie Zone, where up-and-coming games will be showcased and playable.
MIGS has always been designed to highlight the Canadian industry, with a strong focus on developers and games originating from Canada. However, the international presence for MIGS 2025 is expected to increase significantly. 40 percent of invited speakers hail from countries outside of Canada. Speakers include representatives from Helldivers 2 studio Arrowhead, as well as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 developer Sandfall Interactive.
This year, MIGS is expanding from one stage to four total. With this expansion, the MIGS Audio Summit is being presented by Audiokinetic, which celebrates its 25th anniversary. The added capacity is said to offer “richer, more focused content across core areas of game development and external development, as well as production, business, and technology,” according to organizers.
MIGS is being held in collaboration between La Guilde du jeu vidéo du Québec and XP Gaming. “MIGS is about connection,” Jason Lepine, Founder, XP Gaming, says. “From indies taking their first steps to seasoned studios shaping global hits, Montréal is where the international games industry comes together to collaborate, exchange ideas, and drive the business of creativity forward.”
This year, MIGS is partnering with companies and entities like AMD, the City of Montréal, Canada Media Fund, Epic Games Store, AWS, Shutterstock, Behaviour Interactive, EA Motive, Ubisoft, Gameloft Montréal, Investissement Québec, and Red Barrels.
Early bird tickets are available for MIGS 2025, starting at $349 from now until October 17. Afterwards, entry-level tickets will go up to the regular $399 price.
