Rogers Expands 250GB Global Roaming Plan, Matching Bell and Telus

After Bell expanded its 250GB global roaming plan to all Canadians (instead of being just for Quebec) to essentially copying Telus, Rogers has now followed suit, making its own global roaming plan available to everyone.

While Rogers was the first to launch a global roaming plan, it was the last to make it available nationwide. That changed as Rogers has updated its website this week to now offer a global roaming plan, which coincidentally is the same day as Apple’s iPhone 17 and iPhone Air launch.

Rogers has also lowered the price on its 250GB plan by $5, to match Telus and Bell at $95.

Check out the updated bring your own device plans from the ‘Big 3’ as of today, September 19, 2025, after autopay discounts:

Rogers

  • $70/100GB
  • $80/175GB Canada-US
  • $95/250GB Global (64 destinations; was $100); unlimited calls to 27 countries

Bell

  • $70/100GB
  • $80/175GB Canada-US
  • $95/250GB Global (74 destinations); unlimited calls to 65 countries

Telus

  • $70/100GB
  • $80/175GB Canada-US
  • $95/250GB Global (68 destinations) unlimited calls to 68 countries

Pricing is the exact same from Rogers, Telus and Bell. Telus looks to have an advantage as it offers unlimited calls from Canada to 68 countries, which is more than Rogers and Bell. Let’s wait and see if pricing will drop as we approach Black Friday in November.

Important to note that the original Rogers version of this plan included unlimited international calling TO and FROM the 64 countries + Canada, while this new version only includes unlimited international calling to 27 countries. Roaming seems to have been separated from the international minutes in this new version.

I contacted Rogers and got a confirmation that still be able to call the 64 countries from and to . Better not to provide misleading information unless you have a reference.

Yeah so I contacted Rogers myself and verified this 3 times including with a manager. The current Ultimate plan on offer only allows Unlimited International minutes to 27 countries and not 64 like for roaming.

So now, all 3 are equally overpriced. 🙁
