The Ultimate iPhone 17 Series Battery Test [VIDEO]

Battery life has always been one of the biggest factors when choosing a new smartphone, and with Apple’s iPhone 17 lineup now on the market, many people are wondering just how much endurance these devices really deliver.

IPhone 17 Ultimate Battery Test.

Tech reviewer Mrwhosetheboss recently put the iPhone 17 series through an ultimate battery test, and the results may surprise you.

Apple has claimed significant improvements in battery life for the iPhone 17 family, highlighting better efficiency and longer runtimes. However, in practical day-to-day testing the gains are more modest than expected.

The test included the iPhone 17 Air, the standard iPhone 17, the iPhone 17 Pro, and the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The base iPhone 17 performs well but does not dramatically outlast the iPhone 16 in real-world usage. The improvement is noticeable, but it is not the game-changing leap some may have hoped for.

As expected, the Pro Max emerged as the endurance champion, lasting the longest during continuous video streaming, web browsing, and app use. The Pro and standard models sit in the middle of the pack, offering solid battery performance that should satisfy most users. The Air, with its thinner body, comes in last but still manages respectable results considering its slim design.

Battery performance varies depending on how the phones are used. In continuous web surfing and YouTube streaming tests, the Pro Max clearly stands out, holding its charge significantly longer than the Air and even the regular iPhone 17.

One interesting takeaway from the test is the impact of Apple’s new MagSafe battery pack. When attached to the iPhone Air, it extended battery life considerably, bringing it closer to what the Pro Max delivers on its own.
