Oura Ring Maker Nears US $11 Billion Valuation
Oura Health is preparing to raise approximately US $875 million in a new funding round that would push its valuation to about US $10.9 billion, according to a Bloomberg report.

The Finnish company behind the well-known Oura smart ring says the new funds will be used to ramp up production capacity, enhance product development, and expand into more international markets.
Oura Health’s latest valuation almost doubles the one recorded in December, when it raised about US $200 million in its Series D round and was valued at approximately US $5.2 billion. Since its founding in 2013, the company has made remarkable strides in the wearable technology space.
Over the past year, Oura has sold millions of its rings. Overall ring sales have surpassed 5.5 million units to date. the company generated a revenue of over US $500 million in 2024, and it aims to hit US $1 billion in sales during 2025. The latest funding round is expected to close by the end of this month and could end up exceeding US$900 million.
The Oura Ring remains focused on health insights via wearable tech tracking such as sleep stages, heart rate, and activity metrics. The ring tracks biometric data continuously, applying algorithms to translate data into actionable insights.
Oura faces competition from major players in wearable technology but remains differentiated by its ring form factor, highly accurate sensors, and its focus on health metrics beyond fitness alone. With growing demand for device-based health insights and wellness monitoring, investors appear confident in its prospects.

If all goes well this funding round will give Oura the resources to scale further, broaden its product capabilities, and deepen its reach in global markets.
