PlayStation Pulse Elevate Wireless Speakers Launch in 2026

PlayStation revealed its first pair of wireless speakers for desktop gaming during its latest State of Play presentation. The PlayStation Pulse Elevate speakers are designed to provide an “immersive next-level gaming audio experience.”

The company has confirmed that Pulse Elevate utilize the audio innovations first introduced by the Pulse Elite headset and Pulse Explore earbuds. The Pulse Elevate use the PlayStation Link technology, seamlessly working on PlayStation 5, PC, Mac, PlayStation Portal and a smartphone.

PlayStation’s Pulse Elevate features “studio-inspired” planar magnetic drivers for immersive audio. The company states that players will hear games exactly how the developers intended. On the PlayStation 5, the drivers provide enhanced immersion by supporting Tempest 3D AudioTech, positioning audio cues with improved accuracy. The speakers also have built-in woofers for deeper and richer bass. The speakers also include volume controls and EQ settings via PlayStation 5 or PC.

Additionally, the Pulse Elevate speakers include a built-in microphone to use for online play. With AI-enhanced noise rejection tech, the mic will be able to remove unwanted background noise. It’s likely this is the same tech that the Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore have adopted.

With PlayStation Link technology byway of its USB-C port, Pulse Elevate are said to offer an ultra-low latency experience with lossless connectibity. This will be available on compatible devices like PlayStation 5, PC, Mac, and PlayStation Portal. With this feature, playets can also listen from the PlayStation Link device for in-game audio and a seperate Bluetooth-enabled device for music or voice chat.

PlayStation’s Pulse Elevate speakers include built-in rechargable batteries so the speakers can be moved and used while on the go when playing on PlayStation Portal. The included charging docks make it easy to set the speakers back up on your gaming desktop and continue playing.

The wireless speakers are said to be launching in 2026 and will arrive in Midnight Black and White. As of now, there’s no word on how much they’ll cost in Canada.
