Public Mobile Adds New 100GB Canada-US-Mexico Plan, Yet Again

Telus-owned Public Mobile has just dropped new 5G plans that include Canada-US-Mexico talk, text and data.

On Tuesday, Public Mobile updated its website to add new 80GB and 100GB plans, priced at $50 and $60 per month, respectively. These plans let you use your text, talk and data while you are travelling in the US and Mexico like you’re back home in Canada.

As for the company’s 4G plans, nothing has changed as they remain the same. Check out Public Mobile’s plans below:

4G Speed

• $20 talk and text
• $25/3GB
• $30/6GB

5G Speed

• $35/15GB Canada
• $40/30GB Canada-US
• $45/60GB Canada-US-Mexico
• $60/100GB Canada-US-Mexico (NEW)

So is this 100GB plan a “deal”? Well, not if you compare it to earlier this year when it was down to $45/month, then up to $55 per month with 1,000 international minutes. So to come back at $60 per month that is a price increase. Maybe Public Mobile is setting some expectations before Black Friday deals next month?
