Public Mobile Launches 100GB Canada-US-Mexico Plan
Telus-owned prepaid brand Public Mobile has revised its 5G Canada-US-Mexico plans with talk, text and data, once again.
Here are Public Mobile’s 5G Plans (Canada-US-Mexico) as of today, April 1, 2025:
- $29/10GB (NEW; was 20GB) + 250 (was 100) international minutes
- $35/60GB + 500 international minutes
- $45/80GB (NEW; was 100GB) + 1000 international minutes
- $55/100GB (NEW; was $45) + 1000 international minutes
As you can see, the $29 plan has its data cut by 50% and also gets 150 more international minutes. The $45 plan has emerged with 20GB less data, now at 80GB. Instead, there’s a new $55/100GB plan, which is $10 more than before. These prices are still $5 cheaper per month compared to Freedom Mobile’s equivalent 60GB, 80GB and 100GB plans.
Here are Public Mobile’s 4G Plans (all Canada-wide) as of today (no major changes):
There are no end dates for the 5G Canada-US-Mexico plans. The previous plans were set to end on March 31, 2025. The promo $29/50GB plan was supposed to end on March 31, but it’s still showing as well.

When we really should be looking at a Canada – EU – Mexico Plan. Closest we get to that so far is with Freedom. Others should take note of what's going on geo-politically.
Those international minutes are limited to a very selective list of countries and worthless to me,id rather have a cheaper plan or more data and I'm sure I'm not the only one wanting that.
