CBC has launched a dedicated Schitt’s Creek channel on its free streaming service, CBC Gem, letting viewers binge all six seasons of the hit Canadian comedy on repeat—plus the one-hour farewell special Best Wishes, Warmest Regards: A Schitt’s Creek Farewell.

The nonstop Schitt’s Creek feed joins CBC’s growing lineup of free ad-supported (FAST) channels that already includes Heartland, Murdoch Mysteries, and CBC Comedy. The new channel will roll out later this fall on LG Channels and The Roku Channel in Canada.

“Audiences continue to turn to FAST channels for their daily entertainment and we are always looking to meet them where they are and connect them with their favourite shows,” said Sally Catto, General Manager, Entertainment, Factual and Sports, CBC, in a statement on Monday. “The introduction of a new Schitt’s Creek channel makes the iconic series even more accessible to new viewers as well as longstanding fans, allowing them to enjoy nonstop streaming – and laughs – whenever they want.”

The Emmy-winning series, created by Eugene Levy and his son Daniel Levy, follows a once-rich family forced to live in a town they once bought as a joke. Also in other news, we have yet to find people who actually watch Schitt’s Creek.

The show was widely praised for its positive portrayal of the LGBTQ2+ community, earning a GLAAD Media Award in 2020 for Outstanding Comedy Series and sweeping the first-ever Dorian TV Awards with wins for Best Comedy, Lead Actress, Supporting Actor, and Supporting Actress. Despite ending years ago, Schitt’s Creek still pulled strong numbers—ranking as the third most-watched show on CBC Gem between April 2024 and March 2025 (we still don’t know true CBC Gem streaming numbers).
