Rogers has expanded its Xfinity TV and streaming platform by adding two popular Canadian streaming apps: CBC Gem and ICI TOU.TV.
CBC Gem was integrated into Rogers Xfinity recently and is now pre-installed under the “Entertainment (Free with Ads)” section of the Rogers Xfinity Apps menu, offering free access to shows like Schitt’s Creek and live CBC channels.
ICI TOU.TV is also available, providing French-language content, including Québécois series, movies, and documentaries, also accessible via the Apps menu.
How to download CBC Gem? From the Rogers home screen, scroll to the bottom and select “Apps.” Look for CBC Gem under the “Entertainment (Free with Ads)” section—it should already be installed. Just select “Gem” to start watching. The addition comes after Xfinity App TV launched back in January. Back in May, Xfinity TV added over 150 more global channels.
The Rogers website for Xfinity TV apps has yet to be updated to indicate CBC Gem and ICI.Tou.TV is available, but that should happen sometime soon.
