First M5 Apple Vision Pro Reviews Drop—But It’s Still Too Pricey to Care
Last week Apple announced a trio of hardware refreshes that gained its new M5 chip, now available in the 14-inch MacBook Pro, iPad Pro lineup and the Vision Pro.
Here’s a roundup of M5 Vision Pro reviews from publications hand-picked by Apple:

- Tom’s Guide: Apple Vision Pro (M5, 2025) review: The revolution has stalled
- 9to5Mac: Apple Vision Pro (M5) review: More than just a spec bump
- CNET: The New Apple Vision Pro, Reviewed: Better, but the Proposition Is Still the Same
- The Independent: I’ve tried the Apple Vision Pro M5, here’s how it beats the original
- Daily Express: I tried the new Apple Vision Pro M5 – there are 3 reasons why it’s better than before
The Vision Pro still starts at a hefty $4,995 in Canada and that’s before taxes and any accessories. That’s an expensive investment for basically a first-gen device still that just gets a chip upgrade plus a more supportive head strap (that should’ve been included for early adopters).
