PlayStation State of Play Japan Announced for November 11

PlayStation has announced that a ‘State of Play Japan’ is being hosted this week. On November 11th, a “special episode of State of Play” will be live-streamed, offering a new look at upcoming titles and updates.

Announced via the PlayStation Blogthe State of Play Japan is confirmed to run for “more than 40 minutes.” Viewers are invited to hear about games created in Japan and across Asia. The announcement post states that the State of Play Japan will cover both established series as well as indie games. Interviews with developers will also be included throughout the live stream.

The live stream broadcast will be hosted by voice actor Yuki Kaji, who’s best known for working on Attack on Titan, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and Accel World.

Unfortunately, there hasn’t been much more information given by PlayStation regarding what to expect. However, given the timing of the broadcast, it’s likely we’ll be hearing about titles that are set to arrive in 2026 and beyond.

PlayStation’s State of Play Japan will premiere on the PlayStation YouTube channel on Tuesday, November 11th at 5 PM ET/2 PM PT. The broadcast will offer Japanese audio with English subtitles, while the Japanese PlayStation YouTube channel will feature a full Japanese-language version.
