Nintendo to Host The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Direct on November 12

Nintendo and Illumination have announced a Direct presentation for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie on November 12th at 9 AM ET/6 AM PT.

Announced on X (formerly Twitter), the company revealed the event and stated that the live stream will feature “the world premiere of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie official trailer.” The Direct will show off never-before-seen footage of the upcoming film, made in collaboration with animation house Illumination.

To avoid speculation and to set expectations accordingly, Nintendo confirms that “no game information will be included in this presentation.”

Earlier this year, we got the official news that the title of the movie was indeed The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Following up on the 2023 box office hit The Super Mario Movie, this entry sees the return of Chris Pratt as the titular Mario.

Charlie Day and Anya Taylor-Joy return as Luigi and Princess Peach, respectively. Jack Black, who plays Bowser, also returns alongside Seth Rogen’s Donkey Kong and Keegan-Michael Key, who voices Toad. Kevin Michael Richardson joins the cast as Kamek.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is due to release in theatres on April 3, 2026. You can tune into The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Direct on Nintendo’s YouTube channel.
