New on Paramount+ Canada: January 2026

Here’s what’s new on Paramount+ in Canada for January 2026, as the streamer starts the year with new originals, returning series, and a steady flow of movies.

One of the biggest launches this month is Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, which premieres January 15. Paramount+ is also leaning into drama early in the month with Girl Taken on January 8, followed by the return of Red Eye Season 2 on January 9.

Canada Shore debuts January 22, bringing together ten Canadian singles for a summer of partying and drama in Kelowna, British Columbia. To close out the month, School Spirits returns January 28 with a three-episode Season 3 premiere.

On the movie side, January includes several Paramount+ exclusives, starting with Red Sonja on January 1 and ending with Coyotes and The Smashing Machine on January 30.
