Pebble Unveils Round 2 At CES 2026

Pebble enthusiasts have reason to celebrate as the beloved circular smartwatch makes a major comeback with the launch of the Pebble Round 2, over a decade after the original Pebble Time Round debuted.

The new model was introduced at CES 2026, where Pebble showcased its latest hardware alongside other innovative wearables. The standout feature of the Pebble Round 2 is its expanded 1.3-inch color e-paper touchscreen that fills nearly the entire face of the watch.

Pebble Round 2’s larger panel offers sharper visuals and smoother performance compared with the smaller screen on the first generation, and it remains easy to read in bright sunlight due to its reflective display technology.

Design lovers will also notice how the Round 2 eliminates the thick bezel that framed the original while retaining a slim profile that many consider more elegant than most smartwatches today. The watch is framed in stainless steel, contributing to its premium feel and durability. Buyers can choose from multiple finishes including matte black, brushed silver and polished rose gold.

Under the hood, Pebble Round 2 takes a different path from many modern wearables by prioritizing endurance over an extensive suite of sensors. The device is estimated to deliver around 10 to 14 days of battery life on a single charge.

While the Round 2 supports basic health and activity tracking such as steps and sleep, it is not positioned as a fitness tracker or sports watch. Instead, it offers a balanced mix of everyday features including notifications, tactile buttons and voice input via dual microphones, which can be used for interacting with smart assistants and replying to messages.

Pebble’s open-source PebbleOS remains at the core of the user experience, and developers are encouraged to update apps and watch faces to take full advantage of the new circular display.

Preorders for the Pebble Round 2 have opened on the official Pebble store at $199, with shipping expected to begin in May 2026.
