Amazon Reveals Ember Artline, its Take on Samsung’s Frame TV

Amazon has announced its new Ember Artline series of smart TVs. Launching later this year, the Ember Artline TVs are the company’s take on Samsung’s Frame, an art installation piece that doubles as a smart TV display.

The Ember Artline is launching in both 55 and 65-inch models. The lineup features a 4K QLED display with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support. It also comes with a matte finish, which should offer the same effect as the Samsung Frame or other similar displays. With a matte finish, the Ember Artline displays should be able to reduce glare or reflections from light sources. The display itself can be hung from a wall and is only 1.5 inches thick, mimicking a traditional frame and art piece.

The company states the displays “transform from an entertainment hub to a curated art gallery.” Much like the Samsung Frame, Amazon’s new display features 2,000 free works of art to display. Users can search by art style, photography collections, or use the built-in AI tools to create their own.

Helping to power the experience is Amazon’s Omnisense Technology. With this, the Ember Artline will be running an ambient experience, meaning it has the capability of detecting when users walk into the room and turn on. Or it can subsequently turn itself off if it detects that everyone has left the space. As the Fire TV arrives with the Alexa Voice Remote Enhanced, it’s expected that Alexa+ will be supported in Canada, the US, and other countries where Alexa+ is available.

At launch, the Ember Artline will be available in 10 different frame styles. This includes Ash, Black Oak, Midnight Blue, Fig, Matte White, Teak, Walnut, Pale Gold, Silver, and Graphite.

Amazon’s Ember Artline will launch in Canada, the United States, the UK, and Germany in the spring of 2026, starting at $1,249. Those interested can sign up for email updates for when the Ember Artline becomes available through Amazon.
