PlayStation to Launch New Hyperpop Accessory Collection in March

PlayStation is launching a brand new Hyperpop collection of accessories for PlayStation 5 this spring. Arriving on March 12th, the Hyperpop collection spans DualSense controllers and console plate covers.

The Hyperpop collection spans three very distinct and very bold colourways. Inspired by what appears to be RGB gaming setups, PlayStation has curated the Techno Red, Remix Green and Rhythm Blue designs. These vibrant accessories don’t hold back on the colour whatsoever.

On both the PlayStation 5 console covers and DualSense controllers, there is a gradient black accent that flows up to the top. These designs look authentically unique from anything PlayStation has put out on the past. From PlayStation’s Color, Material and Finish design team, Sae Kobayashi says the “gradient wraps around the front and back of the DualSense, finished in a high-gloss coat that makes the colours POP more than ever.”

The Hyperpop DualSense controllers are launching for $109.99 CAD. The matching PlayStation 5 console covers will also launch “in limited quantities” for $74.99 USD (around $102.99 CAD.

Preorders are opening up on January 16th across the US, the UK, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. As of the time of writing, there’s no word on Canadian availability. We’ve reached out to PlayStation for more information.
