Rogers Raising Internet Prices by $10 Per Month for Some Customers

Rogers is planning to raise the cost of certain internet packages by $10 per month, according to latest billing statements received by some customers. It’s not just Bell that’s increasing its internet pricing for customers.

Numerous readers of iPhone in Canada shared their most recent bill, which shows a significant jump for their high-speed service. Some customers currently subscribed to the Xfinity Premier 1.5 Gbps plan on a two-year term are seeing the $10 price jump. While they benefit from bundled savings for home and wireless services, their monthly rate is still set to climb.

Currently, one Rogers customer pays $52 per month after various discounts are applied. However, that total will soon hit $62 per month once the new pricing takes effect.

According to the notification on the billing statement, Rogers justifies the move as a way to “support these investments” in its network. The text informs customers that the company will be “increasing the monthly fee for your internet package by $10 (plus taxes)” starting with the first bill issued on or after March 23, 2026.

For those currently on a promo rate, the notice clarifies that “any active discount or guaranteed rate will remain in effect until its end date.” This means the $10 increase may not be felt immediately if you are still within a fixed-term contract, but it will be added to the “thereafter” price once that term expires. Additionally, services included through condo maintenance or property rentals are not affected by this specific change.

So what should you do? Check your monthly billing statement. Any Telus customers seeing an internet price increase on their bills? Email us ti**@************da.ca, as we don’t want you to feel left out.

Since our package has expired you have raised our bill by 100$ in 5 months roughly that’s highway robbery. We fell behind in our payments due to unforeseen problems. We had put down $250 on our bill 4 or 5 days ago only to wake up next day and be fully shutdown. It’s not like it’s a habit yet again we had some major issues with bills and health issues. So today we paid it off and are still disconnected.wtf Rogers ever hear about a little compassion,no I think not. Money money money to hell with the rest. I’d appreciate yous putting our cable back on that would be a start. Thank u

Sorry to hear that, definitely frustrating. Consider an HD TV antenna you can get channels free over the air. Look into prepaid like Public Mobile or Freedom for a better plan.
