Nintendo to Host Pokopia-Focused Treehouse Live on February 24

Nintendo has announced its plans to host a Treehouse Live livestream on Tuesday, February 24th. This special presentation will focus on hands-on gameplay of Pokémon Pokopia and the Switch 2 edition of Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

Announced via X (formerly Twitter), the Nintendo Treehouse Live will be hosted on the company’s official YouTube channel, with the presentation kicking off at 5 PM ET/2 PM PT. Unlike a Nintendo Direct, the Treehouse Live will solely focus on the two games with more in-depth gameplay of the two upcoming titles. So, don’t expect to hear of new announcements or reveals during the event.

Pokémon Pokopia is releasing next month on March 5th. The game was announced back in September 2025 and is being developed by Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force. Players control a Ditto, which mimics a human being. In this life simulator spin-off of Pokémon, players will craft and build the area around them, befriending new Pokémon. As the area grows and expands, new Pokémon arrive to teach Ditto new moves to utilize.

Meanwhile, the Switch 2 edition of Super Mario Bros. Wonder releases on March 26th. The game features the new Meet Up in Bellabel Park DLC, which adds the new Bellabel Park world with levels focused on co-op. The game will also see the reappearance of the Koopalings. Rosalina and Luma also join the cast of characters in this Nintendo Switch 2 edition of the game.

Nintendo has a fully loaded week ahead of it. On top of hosting the Treehouse Live, there is also a Pokémon Presents live stream happening on Pokémon Day. Ahead of the event, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have announced the arrival of Pokémon FireRed Version and Pokémon LeafGreen Version games for Nintendo Switch. Both games will be made available digitally on the eShop after the live stream, priced at $29.99 in Canada.
