Nothing Shares First Image of Phone 4a Ahead of March 5 Reveal

Nothing has shared the first look at its upcoming Phone 4a ahead of its planned March 5th reveal during MWC. The image gives us a look at the device’s new ‘Glyph Bar’ and triple camera array.
Over on X (formerly Twitter), Nothing posted the image of its unreleased Phone 4a. “Built different,” the caption reads with a reminder that the company is hosting its MWC live stream on March 5th at 5:30 AM ET/2:30 AM PT. Aside from this, a lot of information gathered is taken from the image itself, which only shows the rear side of the Phone 4a. However, Nothing has detailed its new Glyth Bar in a separate post.
Most notably, the Phone 4a features a new Glyph Bar lighting feature that is located next to the triple camera array. The Glyph Bar features seven square lights (six white and one red). This houses nine mini-LEDs that users can control. This is an evolution from the Phone 3a, which features three LED light strips surrounding the camera. Nothing confirms that this year’s Glyph Bar is 40 percent brighter than the previous model. It also uses patented tech to provide “a more natural, neutral, bleed-free glow.”
Aside from this, we can see that the Phone 4a will house a triple camera array. Nothing has also confirmed that it will leverage a Snapdragon chip, though the specific processor has yet to be determined. Nothing has also withheld any potential changes made to the display or other specs.
A full reveal of the Phone 4a is due on March 5th. Here’s it’s likely that CEO Carl Pei and the company will discuss pricing and release information. The company has confirmed it will not be launching the Phone 4 in 2026. “We’re going to be focused on levelling up our A series with the 4A,” Pei said in an earlier video.
