Limited Time: Starlink Drops Monthly Prices to $55 for Select Canadians

SpaceX’s Starlink has launched a major promo in Canada, dropping the entry-level price for its satellite internet service to just $55 per month. The limited-time offer, which runs until March 31, 2026, aims to attract rural and remote users by significantly lowering the monthly cost for the first 6 months of service.

The new tiered pricing structure is designed to compete directly with traditional 5G and fibre providers. For $55 per month, users can access the Residential 100 Mbps plan, which provides a reliable connection for seamless browsing and streaming. For those with heavier household demands, the Residential 200 Mbps plan is available for $95 per month.

The offer also has $0 hardware rental once you punch in your address.

At the top of the lineup is the Residential Max plan, priced at $125 per month. This tier offers Starlink’s best possible performance with speeds reaching up to 400+ Mbps. As an added bonus, customers who sign up for the Max plan can opt in for a free Starlink Mini Kit, allowing them to take their high-speed connection on the road for camping, RVing, or boating.

After the initial 6-month promo period, service plans will return to their regular monthly rates. While speeds can vary based on local network conditions, Starlink continues to lead the satellite industry in uptime and low-latency performance. The offer is available in select areas across Canada, and customers are encouraged to check their address on the Starlink website before the March 31 deadline, to see if their area is eligible (ours isn’t).
