How to Watch March Madness 2026 in Canada: Streaming and TV Schedule

ncaa march madness 2026

If you’re a U.S. college basketball fan (or addicted sports gambler), the madness has officially arrived. With Selection Sunday in the rear-view mirror, Canadian basketball fans are gearing up for three weeks of upsets, bracket-busters, and high-stakes hoops. March Madness officially kicks off tomorrow, March 17 and goes until April 6.

If you are trying to figure out where to catch the action from the First Four to the Final Four in Indianapolis, here is exactly how to watch the 2026 NCAA Tournament in Canada.

TSN and TSN+

The first games will kick off on Tuesday, March 17 at 3:30pm PT/6:30pm ET and 6pm PT/9pm ET.

As the broadcast rights holder for the NCAA in Canada, Bell Media’s TSN remains your headquarters for the tournament. They will provide full coverage across all channels (TSN1 through TSN5) and via streaming on TSN+.

The TSN website will have an NCAA March Madness Multiplex player, also available in the app. This lets you watch multiple games at the same time on one screen. TSN+ is the exclusive home for early-round matchups and the First Four games taking place on March 17 and 18.

Streaming for cord cutters

If you have ditched regular TV, you can stream March Madness on TSN+ as a standalone subscription for $8/month or $80/year (it covers both the men’s and women’s tournaments).

The official NCAA March Madness Live app is popular in the U.S., but it’s geo-blocked and you’ll need a VPN service to access it.

Canadian players to keep an eye on

Okay here’s who we should keep an eye on. Long Island University has earned the nickname ‘Team Canada South,’ as the Sharks’ coast-to-coast Canadian rotation features Toronto’s Jamal Fuller and Malachi Davis, Winnipeg’s Shadrak Lasu, North Preston’s Caleb Johnson, and North Vancouver’s Max Ndlovu-Fraser. Beyond the LIU roster, Gonzaga senior Ryan Nembhard is also a top player to watch.

You still have one day left to fill out your brackets before tomorrow’s tip off of the tournament.

This article is not clear that a TSN+ subscription ONLY buys you access to the early rounds, and that you need to also buy a TSN subscription to watch the later rounds.
