Rogers-owned Fido appears to be in the mood of giving yet again, as it’s doling out 25GB of free monthly data to select customers.
One Fido customer who signed up for the $27/80GB Canada-US-Mexico promo plan last week said they saw the 25GB offer pop up in My Account today, when logging in through the company’s app.
A couple other Fido customers chimed in to say they also received the 25GB data bonus offer. Once again this is a targeted offer and looks to be a way of retaining customers from jumping ship to rival carriers. Even though customers won’t use up the data, the freebie is always nice to have and to receive.
The bonus data effectively results in a $27/105GB plan that includes talk, text and data across North America.
