Netflix Top 10: Peaky Blinders and One Piece Dominate Global Charts

Peaky Blinders The Immortal Man

Tommy Shelby is back on top. The new film Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man has secured the No. 1 spot on Netflix’s English film list for the second week in a row, pulling in 19.4 million views.

The movie follows Cillian Murphy’s iconic character as he ends his exile and returns to a war-torn Birmingham. The story centres on Shelby navigating the chaos of World War II while his estranged son, Duke (played by Barry Keoghan) leads the Peaky Blinders into a dangerous confrontation with a Nazi scheme. The star-studded cast also features Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, and Stephen Graham.

On the television side, ONE PIECE continues its hot streak. Season 2 held onto the No. 1 spot for the third consecutive week with 5.9 million views as Luffy and his crew finally enter the legendary Grand Line. The hype around the new episodes has even pushed the first season back into the Top 10 at No. 8.

Netflix also saw a strong debut for the new horror series Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen. Executive produced by the Duffer Brothers of Stranger Things fame, the show landed at No. 2 with 4.5 million views in its first four days. The story follows a wedding party in the woods where a bride-to-be, played by Camila Morrone, begins to realize something is deeply wrong with her fiancé’s family.

In non-English programming, BTS is making waves with their massive return. BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG, a concert special from Seoul, hit No. 3 on the TV list. Fans also flocked to the new documentary BTS: THE RETURN, which debuted at No. 3 on the film list, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the group recording their latest chart-topping album in Los Angeles.
