Canada Shore Season 2 Greenlit for Paramount+

It’s official, Canada Shore will make its return on Paramount+ with cameras rolling on the cast once more this summer.

After a successful first season that debuted on Paramount+ in January, the streamer has decided to keep the party going with a second season. Which makes sense given the immense popularity of the series in Canada. Paramount+ reveals that Canada Shore drove more Canadian subscriptions than any other title, according to internal data from January 22 to March 19.

Canada Shore‘s first season is a spin-off of the long-running Jersey Shore reality TV hit series. It follows a cast of 20-somethings from across Canada who live together under one roof. The first season created viral moments that attracted the attention of social stars like Brianna Chickenfry and Cody Ko.

“Renewing Canada Shore was an easy choice,” said Katrina Kowalski, SVP Content, Paramount, Canada. “The series has quickly become a fan favourite, connecting with audiences through its unmistakable, outrageous cast who may not depict stereotypical polite Canadian-ness, but have hearts much bigger than the chaos they bring.”

The second season of Canada Shore sees an expansion within the cast. Anyone between the ages of 19 and 26 is encouraged to sign up for a chance to become one of the new members of the cast. Those interested can apply here by April 30.
