Spotify Partners With Peloton, Launching Guided Workout Playlists

Spotify has announced a partnership with Peloton, bringing guided workout playlists and content to its platform. With a focus on workouts and wellness, Spotify now hosts content from creators such as Yoga with Kassandra, Caitlin K’eli Yoga, Sweaty Studio, Chloe Ting Home Workouts, Pilates Body by Raven, Abi Mills Wellness, Sophiereidfit, and others.
As part of the collaboration, Spotify explains, Premium users in Canada and other supported markets now have access to more than 1,400 ad-free on-demand classes. Premium subscribers can access content on outdoor runs, mat classes, yoga, weight training, and more.
In the Spotify app, Premium subscribers can now access the full Peloton content collection in the Fitness Hub. To locate the hub, simply open the Spotify app on your mobile, desktop, or TV. Search “Fitness” to find the Fitness Hub and its library. Within, you can go through the classes and explore the curated playlists for a session of your choosing.
As of now, workouts and classes are primarily available in English. Select options are available in Spanish and German.
Spotify has designed its fitness library in conjunction with Peloton to be used as a flexible asset during workouts. So, you can start a video on your TV for a weight-focused portion, then switch seamlessly to your phone to listen to the audio while out for a run. Classes can also be downloaded for offline access.
“This is just the start,” the company says. “We’ll keep pushing what’s possible, opening new doors for creators and shaping a more active Spotify that doesn’t just soundtrack your day, but moves with you.”
