Freedom Mobile’s $45 Plan Just Lost 75GB of Data Overnight
Freedom Mobile has once again shifted its wireless plans now that a “limited time offer” on its $45 plan ended yesterday. After making a minor plan tweak last Friday, more changes have come today.
On Tuesday, Freedom Mobile updated its website to change around data allotments. Here are the prices as of April 28, 2026:
- $35/25GB + 1GB Roam Beyond
- $40/75GB + 5GB Roam Beyond
- $45/100GB (was 175GB) + 5GB (was 10GB) Roam Beyond
- $50/175GB (was 100GB) + 10GB Roam Beyond
- $60/250GB + 20GB Roam Beyond
As you can see, the $45/175GB plan is now down to 100GB, while its Roam Beyond data was also cut in half to 5GB. The $50/100GB plan now gets a boost to 175GB. Pricing hasn’t changed at all, but data has. I am not sure how many people can blow through 100GB or 175GB in a month, unless you’re tethering lots and streaming 4K video.
There are no end dates on these plans, but the $35/25GB and $60/250GB plans have “limited time offer” labels, so it seems those will be the next ones changing in the near future. If you’re looking for a new cellphone plan, now is not the time, as better promos might be coming soon.
