First Two Episodes of Widow’s Bay Now Available to Stream on Apple TV

Apple TV’s latest series, Widow’s Bay, has premiered on the streaming service, dropping its first two episodes.
Widow’s Bay is best described as a horror comedy series. It stars Matthew Rhys as Tom Loftis, a skeptical mayor of a New England town. With the residents claiming the city is cursed, Loftis often refuses to humour the notions while attempting to revive the struggling community. As things begin to turn around and tourists flock to the city, revelations that the curse may be true surface.
Apple’s latest features a cast including Stephen Root, Kate O’Flynn, Kevin Carroll and Dale Dickey.
The series is helmed by Katie Dippold, who is best known for working on Parks and Recreation, The Heat and 2016’s Ghostbusters revival. Hiro Murai serves as lead director on the series. Murai directs five episodes of the series with Ti West, Sam Donovan and Andrew DeYoung also taking the reins.
Apple’s rollout for Widow’s Bay shifted a little bit since its announcement last year. Originally, the first three episodes of the series were due to hit the streaming service on April 29th. However, Apple has seemingly decided to only release the first two episodes. The remaining episodes of the 10-episode run premiere every Wednesday. Widow’s Bay will conclude on June 24th, 2026.
Apple TV is available in Canada for $14.99 CAD per month.
