Simply follow these steps to securely erase information from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch and restore your device to factory settings.
- Make sure to back up your device so that you can restore your data.
- Now, go to Settings.
- Tap General.
- Tap Transfer or Reset iPhone.
- Tap Erase All Content and Settings. It might take a few minutes to erase your data.
Once done, your iPhone or iPad will be restored to its factory settings. Watch the following video to find out more.
