How to Reset and Restore Your iPhone [VIDEO]

Apple’s new support video explains how you can erase your iPhone or iPad and restore it to factory settings, either from your iPhone or iPad itself, or from your computer.

Simply follow these steps to securely erase information from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch and restore your device to factory settings.

  1. Make sure to back up your device so that you can restore your data.
  2. Now, go to Settings.
  3. Tap General.
  4. Tap Transfer or Reset iPhone.
  5. Tap Erase All Content and Settings. It might take a few minutes to erase your data.

Once done, your iPhone or iPad will be restored to its factory settings. Watch the following video to find out more.
