DoorDash and Lyft have officially brought their cross-platform partnership to Canada, marking the first time the two companies have extended their joint benefits outside of the United States.
DashPass, which is DoorDash’s premium membership tier, already offers users $0 delivery fees and reduced service charges on many food and grocery orders. Now, by linking their accounts with Lyft, DashPass members can unlock a suite of transportation perks.
The standout feature of this new partnership is the introductory offer. When eligible DashPass members in Canada link their accounts to Lyft, they can receive 50% off a single ride, up to a maximum of $10. This discount is available for 30 days after the accounts are connected, providing a strong incentive for users to try out the integration.

These discounts apply to up to four rides per month in total and are automatically added to the user’s Lyft app once the accounts are linked, removing the need for manual promo codes.
Lyft has been operating in Canada’s ten largest cities since 2017, and this partnership is a major step in its quest to become the most rewarding way to travel. Meanwhile, DoorDash continues to diversify its offerings in the Canadian market, recently adding major retailers like Sobeys and Safeway to its delivery platform.
