Bell is throwing in three months of free TSN app access for new and existing customers on its current 5G wireless plans.
The promotion applies to all monthly tiers, which currently run at $60, $65, $80 and $95. Rather than a straight free trial, Bell is applying a $29.99 monthly credit for the first three months. Worth noting: that price can go up after the promo period ends, and if you make any changes to your eligible plan during those three months, you could lose the remaining credits.
The two higher-tier plans at $80 and $95 still include Crave Standard with Ads, and all plans continue to come with 12 months of Perplexity Pro at no extra charge.
The TSN offer is only for new TSN app subscribers, and access runs until your next renewal date if you decide to cancel early. No refunds are offered.
This promo comes ahead of the FIFA World Cup, set to kick off on June 11, hosted in Canada, the US and Mexico, and as you might have guessed it, Bell Media has exclusive streaming and broadcasting rights.
On a separate note, Bell and Virgin Plus recently dropped their $80 activation fees ahead of upcoming CRTC regulations that would ban connection charges outright. The catch is that Bell has since introduced a $40 device fee for anyone buying a phone directly through them. The CRTC has since warned Bell its new device fee might be against federal rules.
