A&W Canada is celebrating the first anniversary of its mobile rewards program this month. To mark the milestone, which the company has dubbed its “Rewardiversary,” the fan-favourite burger chain is offering a full year of free Teen Burgers.
The company will be selecting fourteen lucky winners from across the country to receive the ultimate prize, which will be delivered directly through the A&W mobile app. Entering the contest is seamless for both existing and new app users. The contest window officially opens today, May 11, and runs through May 24, 2026.
To secure an entry, customers simply need to place an order using the A&W mobile app. This can be done by ordering ahead for pickup or by scanning their rewards code at the restaurant during checkout. Interestingly, A&W has decided not to cap the number of entries a single person can earn.
There is no minimum spend required, and every separate order counts as an additional entry into the draw. This “no limits” approach means the more frequently you visit, the higher your chances of winning the grand prize.
While the year of free burgers is the main attraction, A&W is spreading the love even further. In addition to the fourteen grand prize winners, the company will draw fifty secondary winners who will receive exclusive A&W merchandise packs. These packs typically feature retro-inspired gear that celebrates the brand’s long-standing history in the Canadian food scene.
Julia Cutt, the Director of Digital Consumer Marketing at A&W, expressed that this celebration is a direct thank you to the community that has embraced the digital platform over the last twelve months. Since its launch, the A&W Rewards program has allowed users to accumulate points on every purchase, which can be redeemed for free food items like onion rings, root beer, and of course, the iconic burger family.
