Some Fizz Mobile Members Are Getting 100 GB of Free Data Today. Are You One of Them?

Fizz Mobile is surprising some of its members with a massive data giveaway, and it came with no explanation other than the company feeling like treating its community.

Emails started going out this morning to select customers announcing the drop. For those getting the full amount, 100 GB is being split into two deliveries: the first 40 GB has already landed in eligible accounts as four separate 10 GB perks, with the remaining 60 GB set to arrive on June 25.

The perks are also sticking around longer than usual. Members on Reddit noted they’re valid for 90 days once activated, so there’s no pressure to burn through the data right away.

Not everyone is getting the same amount. Some customers reported seeing 20 GB or 50 GB show up instead of the full 100 GB, so the size of the gift seems to vary by account. One iPhone in Canada reader let us know they received 20GB today.
