PlayStation is hosting an exciting one-hour-long State of Play live stream broadcast today, June 2, at 5 PM ET/2 PM PT. The event will last over one hour and cover announcements and news regarding games arriving on PlayStation consoles.

As announced earlier in May, the upcoming State of Play livestream will feature “more than 60 minutes of updates, announcements, and gameplay reveals from top studios around the world.” The high-profile game leading the live stream is Marvel’s Wolverine, from Insomniac Games.

PlayStation teases that the State of Play will provide new glimpses into “Logan’s brutal and relentless combat, along with some new details.” Marvel’s Wolverine launches on PlayStation 5 on September 15th.

What makes this particular State of Play a highly anticipated one is the length of the live stream. At over an hour, this State of Play is one of the longest that PlayStation has produced. In February, PlayStation held a third-party-focused State of Play lasting around 70 minutes, and it was here that we recieved announcements for games like Kena: Scars of Kosmora, God of War Trilogy Remake, God of War: Sons of Sparta, and Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2.

PlayStation has not pulled the curtain back on any other potential announcements. Curiously, however, developer Team Asobi published a post regarding Sly Cooper, a beloved PlayStation mascot. The Astro Bot developer could simply be having some fun, spotlighting the character, but many fans are convinced the developer is teasing a potential return of the Sly Cooper franchise.

The PlayStation State of Play will live stream on the official YouTube and Twitch channels at 5 PM ET/2 PM PT. The broadcast will be in English, with Japanese subtitles available for viewers.
