Toronto-based fintech Wealthsimple has updated its online redemption store, to now let you redeem cash back for Apple products.
The beta feature says you can “shop with your cash back” with your Wealthsimple Visa card, allowing you to “redeem great products with exclusive discounts”. Besides Wealthsimple merch, the store is now showing the following Apple products:
The items with the biggest discount are the AirPods Pro 3, AirTags and AirPods 4 with ANC as they are 10% off. Apple is expected to raise prices of all devices due to the memory chip shortage, so if you have a tonne of cash back, this is one way to save.
The other Wealthsimple Marketplace, which offers discounts on a variety of services (such as up to 35% off Telus plans), has Apple listed as placeholder for now still, with no products or offerings available yet.
