Virgin Plus Shakes Up Plans with Price Increases Across the Board

Late last month we told you Bell’s flanker brand Virgin Plus had added an expiry date for its current plans, set for July 2, 2026.

Fast forward to today and Virgin Plus has indeed stuck to its word and shaken up plan pricing, with a price increase across the board.

Here’s Virgin Plus pricing for bring your own device customers and after autopay discounts:

  • $45/20GB (was $40)
  • $50/60GB (was $45)
  • $55/60GB (was $50) Canada-US-Mexico

While you would think a price increase might bring more data, that’s not the case as amounts have remained the same. Virgin Plus has two 60GB plan, with the most expensive $55 plan including US and Mexico roaming. It looks to be a way to encourage customers to pay $5 more to get travel roaming.

But like with Koodo and Fido, Virgin Plus still does not offer any international roaming into its plans, unlike Freedom Mobile.

We’ll have some more coverage of plan changes soon, so stay tuned.
