Chatr Just Cut Up to 50GB From Its Top Prepaid Plans and Raised Prices
Rogers-owned Chatr has just made some major changes to its top-end prepaid plans, reducing data by quite a bit. The changes come after we recapped prepaid plans in Canada yesterday for July.
Here are changes made today by Chatr on its website we spotted:
- $19/500MB
- $21/1GB
- $25/5GB
- $30/15GB (was $29/35GB)
- $35/30GB (was $34/80GB)
- $100/year: 400 minutes and voicemail
- $159/year: 40GB data, unlimited minutes and international text, voicemail
As you can see, plans increased by $1, while data got slashed by 20GB and 50GB on the two most expensive plans. This is definitely not the time to jump on any cellphone plans as prices seem to increase before back to school promos will pop up next month.
